Herman miller Eames lounge chair – Create your own cover to give the room a fresh, updated look without spending a fortune on new furniture
Lay the fabric over the arm on the Herman miller Eames lounge chair and measure the sides. Ideally, there are 6 to 8 inches of fabric on each side of the arm. If the arms are heavily softened, you must measure 6 to 8 inches from where the fabric falls over the side instead of from the center of the arm. This will stand for the extra padding. Mark the wrong side of the fabric easily, and place straight sticks along the lines that are sharp. Repeat for both arms and set aside.
Put a piece of cloth over the front of the Herman miller Eames lounge chair, outside. Use your cursors, easily track the contours of the front of the arm, and then place straight pins along the curve you are tracking. Be sure to trace each curve exactly, otherwise the cover will not fit once. Repeat for the other arm. Use your scissors, cut about 1 inch off the pin for both sides and front pieces. With the fabric of the side panels facing down, fold down a 1/2 inch along the edge and iron to lie flat and then remove the straight pin. Sew a needle with your needle and thread, which is slightly in the side of the streak. The result should be three folded edges and a short end left. Repeat on the other side of play.
